Motion is Life ~ Cardio Work Outs

I’ve been giving my body a bit of a chance to heal up! Last week, I did weight training/resistance training two times instead of three, and I’ve added some more walking to my cardio portfolio!
So, this is how the last few days have shaped up since I last checked in:
Friday
Went for 30 minute ‘power walk’ in the morning with dog-breath, then for a 4.2 mile run later in the day. Also, jumped on the trampoline with the kids for about 20 minutes, and did some abs before the run (variations of front and side crunches on the Bosu ball).
Saturday
The two year anniversary of my mom’s death. (Another reason I’ve been “laying low” lately. Lots of time reflecting.) She was obviously at the easel up in heaven this morning – what a gorgeous, stunning sunrise!! 25 minute walk with dog in the morning. Some light stretching and yoga. The rest of the day was spent with my dad.
Sunday
40 minute walk (and a bit of running) with dog-breath in the morning. Did some abs and some yoga Warrior poses.
Monday
Short walk with the dog in the morning. Went for a 3.5 mile run later.
Today
Just getting ready to do a resistance training “power” work out… fill you in later!
