Happy, Healthy, Active Kids

You’ve heard me say it a gazillion times – ALL (intentional) movement is a good thing. It’s SO very true with kids, too. They need to move, move, move in order to build healthy bodies AND high-performance, balanced brains. It’s not just about preventing childhood obesity. It’s about building healthy people who function at the highest levels – physically, mentally, emotionally and socially.

Regular movement = a healthier brain.

In this case, the movement in question wins no points for style or technique or grace… but it sure did make me smile. I was trying real hard not to bust out laughing while I was videotaping.

I call my son’s first-time snorkeling technique “The Sinking Frog”!!
